Workshop 5:
1. Use background image
2. Use single vertex to create profile edge
3. Remove duplicated vertices
4. Use Spin to create 3D geometry form
5. Use Boolean modifier
6. Use Smooth shading
7. Use EdgeSplit modifier

Picture
Load Background Image
Download the reference image from http://www.freestencilgallery.com/ Under 3D View's "Property Panel", select this image under "Background Images" section
Use the default geometry to create a profile curve
Rename the Cube to "Bishop" in the Outliner, then delete ALL vertices from the default cube.
Hold "Ctrl" key and LMB-Click to create extra vertices to complete the profile curve.

Spin to revolve the curve creating a geometry
*Switch to Top Orthographic View
Highlight all the vertices, apply "Spin" feature and input "360 degree" to close the geometry

Remove the duplicated vertices

Create a new Cube and Use Boolean Modifier to subtract from Bishop geometry
*select the Bishop geometry before adding Boolean modifier, then
Delete the Cube geometry after operation
